Using either a CR123A or 16340 battery, you can get a variety of output levels which depend directly on the battery type. To get the most output this thing can dish out, use an RCR123A or 16340 battery. Nice, compact light, with reservations
"At a price of under $30, I have no right to badmouth this light. A three stage, forward clicky, it fits well in my front jeans pocket, is very lightweight and has nice throw & spill in complete darkness. However, when I first received and opened the packaging, I thought someone had forgotten to install a boot over the rear switch. Contacting Battery Junction, 'Barbara' sends me a photo showing the exposed, unfinished metal butt end of the light is as it's sold, with the actual clicky switch the only rubber covered part. As expected, the light heats up quickly when on high but I was a bit surprised just how quickly; in under 2 mins on high it became worrisome to leave on. I'd bought the light to replace a more expensive lost Lumapower Incendio V3. While no where near the quality of my lost light, I'll continue to EDC this light until I find a replacement then this LumaPower will take up duty where I need a good light I can count on, but it won't be EDC."

"Great lil light with a max of 270 OTF lumens max though, when using a 16340 rechargeable CR123. This is according to the literature that was provided which feels correct to me based on my experience with other lights. It has a great rather floody beam that makes it ideal for walking with at night. It also has a good amount of throw for short to medium range. The user interface is not for tactical use, which is fine since I wouldn\'t consider this a tactical light. It starts in low with the first half/full click an you have to cycle your way past medium to reach the high(270 OTF Lumens) setting. It has a rather cool white color beamthat is not too cool. Pretty much what I think one would consider white. Definitely not the neutral white color though. Overall for the price I\'ve found this to be a great lil light well worth the $30 I spent for it."
