" Just Not the Same . . . "
"Folks, I only ordered one of these to try to make sure they were the same as the 'old style' on my Aggressor bag from a few years ago . . . . unfortunately, it was not. The size & construction were pretty close, but the underside that 'rides' on your clothing on your shoulder area was no where near the original. As the previous reviewer stated, this pad was lacking a lot of the 'sticky residue' that was on the original pad. After only 4 days of carrying my attaché twice a day, it was continually slipping off my jacket, which was a wool overcoat. I tried washing with warm water but to no avail. Thought maybe this would activate any finish the mfg. used but did not make any difference. I did the same on my old pad & it seemed to help but only for a few days. Sorry to say but I think I will have to look at other avenues to get the other pads I need for my other 5 cases. Really hate to write a 2-star review, especially since the majority of Maxpedition gear & all the other 'stuff' I have obtained from Battery Junction has always been top shelf items. Just didn't want to mislead others in case someone would use the reviews to make up his mind as to whether he would buy a product or not. Be safe"
