Dual Color Temperature
The MecArmy PS14 Ti EDC flashlight brings a new customization feature to the market, as it gives you a choice of outputting either a neutral or a cool white output. This hand-held flashlight is equipped with two Cree LEDs, each with its own color temperature rating, which can be used either together or independently. When used together, the two LEDs create a maximum output of 1200 lumens, when using the included 14500 Li-ion battery. If a specific color temperature is desired, the PS14 Ti can activate the LED individually to deliver either the neutral (6500K) or the cool white (4000K) beam outputs. A cool white output typically provides a clearer presentation, with a slight blue tint. Neutral white, on the other hand, is a warmer color that is gentler on the eyes. To alternate between the different temperature ratings, first, you must turn on the light by fully pressing down on the tail cap switch. Next, you will need to loosen and then tighten the head of the flashlight. Repeat this action in order to cycle through the different modes.
Stylish Everyday Carry
The MecArmy PS14 Ti is constructed of titanium, which is both incredibly durable and impeccably stylish. Feel secure in knowing your EDC flashlight can withstand the wear-and-tear of everyday use. Not only is the Titanium construction scratch-resistant, but it is also available in a few different color options. This hand-held LED light is also equipped with a stainless steel pocket clip for effortless carrying in your pocket. The pocket clip is wider than most, thus providing a more secure attachment to your clothing.
In addition to being strong, lightweight, and stylish, the PS14 Ti is also rechargeable. Included with every unit purchased is a 14500 battery. This Li-ion battery is equipped with a micro USB charge port for quick-and-easy charging in-between use. When the battery begins to run low on power, simply remove it from the flashlight and connect it to a power source using the included USB charge cable. The battery will fully charge in approximately 2 hours and 48 minutes and even features a status indicator to notify you when it is fully powered. While your 14500 is being charged, the MecArmy PS14 Ti can run on a single AA battery as well. Please note that outputs and runtimes differ slightly when utilizing the non-rechargeable battery.
