Millite Finger Light Night Vision Green NVG LED
The Millite Night Vision Green LED finger light is an ultra bright flashlight that's great to have on hand... literally. Designed for aviators and military professionals, it is worn on your index finger like a ring and operated by your thumb. The ambidextrous design has switches on both sides so it can be worn on either your left or right finger.
The body of this tough, rugged finger light has 3 layers of molded plastics and a rubber coating for optimal shock absorbance and isolation. The Velcro strap can be adjusted to fit any size finger and can even be worn over gloves.
High and Low modes are selected by holding the on/off switch. To preserve battery life, the Millite Finger Light will automatically switch off after 8 minutes of continuous operation.
It runs on 3 x LR44 batteries and weighs so little you won't even know it's there. It is waterproof up to 5 feet, so while it can't be used for diving it can withstand any torrential downpour or harsh weather conditions you throw at it. It can also be rinsed off it if gets dirty. Excellent to use when you need directed light but still need full use of your hands, such as when flying at night, operating a weapon, throwing grenades, reading a map, spotting a target, or working in tight spaces. This is the night vision green LED version (which is a shade of teal-green), but the same light is also available with the following LED's: red, white, green, and infrared (great for night-vision).

Switches Hard to Activate
"Good lite. . . plenty of light especially on high mode. The switches, which are ambidextrous, activate easy enough from the right side (when light is worn on left hand) but from the left side, the switch takes a gorilla to activate. . . or the other hand - so it ends up not being user friendly when worn on the right hand. It could come with better instructions on how to activate the high mode. It is press and hold the button. . . nowhere in the literature that is sent with the light is that mentioned. I returned the first light I received thinking the high mode did not work and the switch was hard to activate. The second light I received acted the same way. Fortunately, I figured out the high beam mode and will just have to live with the difficult switch. The turn around for shipping a new light was terrible. I called within 10 minutes of the first delivery and was told they would not ship a replacement until they had the return in hand. I mailed it out the same day with delivery 3 days later. It was well over a week before they shipped the new light. Once it shipped it arrived quickly."
