Rather than being limited to a handful of preset brightness levels, this innovative flashlight uses a unique rotary switch that lets you adjust its brightness to your exact preference. By rotating the body switch, you can brighten and dim the EC22's beam anywhere between its max brightness and 0.5 Lumens, giving you full control of the output. "After using this light for a week I am generally satisfied. The beam is broad and focused. Weight and size are well within my limits. It has dropped, from two or three feet, twice without any sign of damage or marking. For my way of handling and using a small light, I prefer having the on/off switch at the back end of the light. Over time I may adjust to the wheel switch. Overall I am satisfied with the light and would buy it again."
"As is typical with nutecore it is a nice light. This is my 3rd varaibale nitecore. I had to buy the 2nd because the 1st started to flicker a lot (and I wanted the newer one) The sccond broke when I droped it about 2 feet and nitecore would not respond to my emails. I bought a jetbeam to carry. This light is compact and easy to carry. Brightness is about the same as the SRT 5 the center of the beam is square. The EC 22 does flicker when moving the control."
