The EC4SW also features four lower constant brightness outputs ranging from a potent 1010 Lumens all the way down to a mild 2 Lumens to fit the lighting needs of a variety of situations. The flashlight also features three special tactical outputs including a Strobe Setting that can be used to signal or disorient a target, a S.O.S. Setting that an be used to signal for help, and a Location Beacon that can be used to steadily mark your position. All of the EC4SW's constant brightness and tactical outputs can be accessed and cycled through using the easy-to-use interface of its dual switch located on the body beneath the head, which doubles as an LED power indicator, notifying its user of the flashlight's remaining charge.

Durability and Efficiency

While its vast array of lighting options may seem to take center stage, the EC4SW's construction and design are just as impressive as its outputs. The EC4SW is able to function using a pair of 18650 batteries, four 16340 (RCR123A) batteries, or four of the more common CR123A batteries, giving more options to the user in the event they do not have access to a particular size. The flashlight comes with reverse polarity protection as well as advanced temperature regulation (ATR) technology to avoid damage to both the flashlight and the batteries. Crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, the EC4SW's lightweight but durable body is die-casted and molded to form a singular, more rigid unit, giving it greater structural integrity than common multi-part flashlight bodies. The body's unique design provides a comfortable grip for the user and gives it improved heat dissipation to keep its LED functioning longer and more effectively. The light's ultra-clear mineral glass lens comes with an anti-reflective coating which, when paired with the light's micro-textured reflector, helps produce a wider, more evenly-spread beam.

Specialized Beam Color

What sets the EC4SW apart from other tactical flashlights is its specially designed MT-G2 LED, which produces a neutral white light, as opposed to the more common cool white beam found in most LED flashlights. Typical cool white light gives off a slightly blue or even purple tint which can affect the color of what it illuminates. The neutral white light of the EC4SW closely mimics natural light or light that would come from incandescent bulbs, which is not only easier on our eyes, but does not alter the original coloring of what it shines on, making it perfect for film and photography. The flashlight even comes with tail stand capability and its tailcap doubles as a tripod connector, making it even more effective for use in film.
