Next Gen EDC Flashlight

Nitecore's EDC line of flashlight grows even more with the addition of the Nitecore EDC29! With a maximum output of 6500 lumens in LUMIN SHIELD mode, you have access to emergency lighting to keep yourself safe. For long range visibility that's fast to access, the SEARCH mode generates a 1312.34ft (400m) beam so you can spot far-off hazards. These two specialized modes can be customized into your tail switch for one button access! If you encounter an obstruction while using the high mode, the sensor protection function will reduce the output to 400 lumens, so you don't harm your eyes while on the job.

User-Friendly Controls

Intelligent mode memory ensures you can quickly access the mode you last used to cut down on excess cycling. The Advanced Temperature Regulation prevents overheating to ensure stable performance during long periods of use! Its dual tail switch provides access to multiple lockout modes to prevent accidental activations. The EDC29's OLED display clearly communicates battery status and active modes so you have refined control. Modes can also be instantly activated without turning the light on, giving you even faster access to lighting.

Simple USB-C Recharging!

The built-in lithium-ion battery pack and USB-C port provide charging options from power banks, outlets, and more. This flashlight's Advanced Power Cut-Off system and constant current circuit improve the efficiency of the ultra-low mode's power consumption, giving it a 61-hour runtime. Various lockout modes prevent accidental activations to preserve battery life! This flashlight's battery pack energy retention efficiency let it last 12 months when stored at full charge.

"I have EDC27 and when I saw that this came out, I had to have one. All I can say is WOW, as to the brightness. It is very slightly larger than the EDC27, but for what you get in this flashlight, this is a no-brainer. I've relegated the EDC27 to my backpack, but will carry the EDC29 on me. Love the lock out switch on this light as well, so that it doesn't accidentally turn on and I've got a soft spot for the new flat lights instead of round. Only 2 things I wish for this light is a replaceable battery a UV light and a laser (yea, I know about the JetBeamE26 Kunai and have one), but the brightness on the EDC29 just blows away anything else that is able too pocket carried. My new EDC light. Took 6 weeks to get from Battery Junction from the time I ordered it, but can't really blame them since its a new light and hard to keep in stock."

If you want the light ship to you very quick then opt for a different shipping method otherwise it will take over a week to get to you. Free is Free but it does not ship fast as they use DHL and then the post office. Just ask what your shipping options are before you place the order."

Q&A

Can the battery be replaced by you when it goes out of warranty? If so, what is the cost?
The light has a built in battery pack which will more than likely last longer than the two year warranty, if maintained according to the users manual The battery pack is not replaceable.
What happens when the battery no longer works? Can it be replaced? By the user or does it have to be sent back to you or nitecore for replacement?
The Nitecore EDC29 has a built in battery pack. This light also has a two year warranty as noted in the users manual. If you should have any issues with the operation of the light during the warranty period, you can feel free to reach out to us for assistance. Please do not try to disassemble the light as this will void the warranty.
Is there a holster available for the EDC-29?
Nitecore does not provide holsters with these lights and we do not carry one that fits at this time.
