Typical garbage inside, no warranty
"This is a very useful, compact power supply for traveling. It served me well for just over a year of light, but frequent use. It feels less premium in hand than in pictures, the carbon fibre panels are just covers not the whole structure. The price is very reasonable if it's coming from a reputable company and not a product from some unknown company on a well know retail site. But it is not a product from a good company. The battery is now defective inside and swells up if plugged in. One year life span is not acceptable for how lightly it was used. This is after all a cell phone battery inside and most people expect their cell phone to last longer than a year! This is what we used to put up with twenty years ago with lap tops. I contacted Nitecore and simply asked if they would give me a credit toward buying the newer model which is more expensive. They declined, in very few words, to do anything and probably saved me from another waste of money. They also saved me money from never buying any more products from them, most are outdated technology in a pretty wrapper. I have quite a few of their lights, but they aren't as special as they were ten years ago when there were few options. I bought a 21700 cell based power bank to replace this, but it is big and ugly in comparison. But at least it's safer."
