Moreover, the Nitecore NL1829-LTHP 18650 button top battery is a high-performance battery with a maximum discharge rate of 8A. The 8A discharge rate is double the rate of the NL1829-LT battery and makes this high-performance battery suitable for many Nitecore flashlights including: the Concept 1, HC33, and several others. Various internal safety features such as an innovative anode design, a built-in PTC, and the microporous barrier are there to protect the battery during all stages of its use in almost any type of environment. The outside of the rechargeable 18650 is made of a nickel-plated Stainless Steel material that helps further protect the battery from impacts and oxidation.
