Fine but big
"Seems decent quality, but be aware these are a bit larger than the standard CR18650 size."

NL1836HP
"Great batteries from Nitecore. These do what they’re designed to do."
NOTE: These batteries will NOT work on an older TM26, taking 4 18650 cells.
"After charging 4 cells, the TM26 would not work at all. Other cells I tried worked fine. I was told my flashlight is ' Too Old '. These cells did work , however only in a single cell flashlight. What? The customer service person was argumentative and only offered to return them at my expense. A bad experience."
Q&A
- So these say they are CR18650 batteries...but I was surprised to find them larger than the 18650 batteries I'm replacing. These are 70mm long or close to it, not the expected 65mm. I was about to say you had them listed wrong, but the package itself actually says 18650 battery in finer print down on the corner. What is up with that? How can they be 18650 batteries yet be longer then 65mm?
- Hi Eric, Thank you for your inquiry. The batteries can vary in size depending on their specs; IE. - capacity, protection, button vs flat top, etc. Please feel free to contact us if we can be of further assistance.
- I'm purchasing the Nitecore NL 1836HP (18650 3600 mAh) for my Klarus XT11GT I purchased from Batt Junction a couple years ago. The OE battery wouldn't hold a charge and I'd get a blinking yellow light on the Klarus. Question: should I let the new battery drain down in-between uses or should I keep it fully charged ? I carry it as an EMT but really only have it on occasionally. Thoughts appreciated.
- Lithium-ion batteries hold a charge very well. I am not sure what you mean by occasionally but we would recommend charging it about every 6 months to keep the chemistry in good shape.
