A favorite for use within the power tool and medical device industry, the Nitecore NL18490A is an 18490 sized battery that provides heavy duty power coupled with unbeatable reliability. The cell's IMR chemistry makes it a perfect addition to your high-drain electronics, so stable it can be used without protection circuitry. The NL18490A runs at 3.7 Volts and can store an impressive 1100mAh of energy, specifically made for use in applications that need a high-discharge current.

The NL18490A has Lithium-ion Manganese Oxide (LiMn204) or IMR Li-ion chemistry. This chemistry is not only rechargeable, but stable and utilized in high-drain devices. Its internal structure uses a cathode made from Lithium Manganese Oxide in a three-dimensional spinel construction that allows for enhanced ion flow. This improved flow lowers internal cell resistance, giving you a faster charge, and high-current discharge. IMR batteries were made particularly for high-drain applications, such as lights, power tools, electronics and medical devices.
