The Precise Series (P series) from Nitecore has come forward as their line for premier tactical LED flashlights. Ultra-Bright with Super Long Throw

The P16 is advanced enough, and offers enough tactical capabilities, that it meets the demands of police officers and military personnel. Running on two CR123As or a single 18650 battery, the P16 outputs a blinding 960 lumens of light on High mode and gets an incredible 26 hours of runtime on low mode. At 1.57 inches in diameter, the head of the P16 is quite large in comparison to the wrest of the light, this is in order to provide the best in reflector technology. The P16 utilizes "Crystal Coated Technology" along with "Precision Digital Optics" to produce 20,900 candle power and 289 meters maximum throw distance. This six inch light can function as a legitimate search light with that kind of throw - if you have a big yard or otherwise a lot of land, you'll find this feature to be invaluable.

3 Output Modes, Strobe, and Beacon

There's an output for any situation with the P16. High, Medium, and Low offer their own advantages - High for maximum brightness/throw/search capabilities, Medium for most situations, and Low for the longest consistent run times. While Strobe is used for self defense to disorient and confuse attackers, SOS for emergency light-based communication, and super efficient beacon mode for the longest possible run times in emergency situations. The crenelated "window smasher" bezel is designed for just that, to break through hard objects otherwise impossible, or too dangerous, to break.The P16 is built tough to withstand all weather, harsh work environments, and tactical applications. It's constructed with aero-grade aluminum alloy and given a HAIII military grade hard-anodized finish to resist wear and tear. Naturally the P16 is also O-ring sealed and IPX-8 rated, meaning it's fully submersible in up to 2 meters of water. It also comes with one of the most sturdy pocket clips I've ever seen come standard with a light - detachable (if you'd prefer it without), titanium plated stainless steel. The simple tail and side-switch interface allows for On/Off activation and cycles through modes, and the side-switch will light up to indicate 50% battery, or flash rapidly to indicate critically low battery levels.
