The Home They Deserve
Your batteries are due for VIP treatment, and the Nitecore SC2 delivers just that. This smart charger can handle just about any battery you can throw at it. From Li-ion 18650s and 16340s to Ni-MH AA and AAA batteries, you can charge a wide host of battery types and chemistries. Each slot is its own independent channel, meaning they charge separate from each other. You can use slot 2 to charge a USB device instead of a battery by plugging into the integrated USB output. The charger even has an on-board program to rehabilitate IMR batteries that have been completely depleted. (Some less-common types of batteries, specifically 4.35V Li-ion and 3.7V LiFePO4, will require the charging voltage to be adjusted manually. The easy interface makes this a breeze.) It's a dream charger for hobbyists, flashaholics, and military/law enforcement. You've already invested in your rechargeable batteries. Now get the charger that will let you maximize that investment!
Flexible Charging Options
Select from 0.5A, 1A, 2A, and 3A of current depending on your charging needs. We all have moments where we need fresh batteries as quickly as possible — Crank the SC2 up to 3 amps and dump some serious current into your cells when you need them back in action! Alternatively, it can be set to trickle-charge when your priority is maximizing battery life. Once you have this flexibility at your disposal, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.
Multiple Protection Safeguards
Smart charging means the SC2 detects when your batteries are at maximum capacity, so there's no risk of overcharging. Automatic power-off stops the current when the charge is finished. The Nitecore SC2 smart charger is built with several other safety features to prioritize the safety of you and your batteries: Overtime charging protection, reverse polarity protection, short circuit prevention, on-board temperature monitoring, heat-dissipating design, and fire retardant/flame resistant PC materials.
Note: Some protected 21700 batteries may not fit in a charging bay.
