Nitecore Thumb Leo - UV Light

Light Like You've Never Seen Before

Nitecore is always looking to improve their hand held flashlights and the Nitecore Thumb Leo UV light is not an exception to that! Weighing as little as 25 grams this little flashlight is more durable than ever before. It is made of a high strength Polycarbonate material that is resistant to many types of everyday impacts and use. This material can be found in riot gear, helmets, and other equipment that is meant to take a beating. Attached is a stainless steel ring connector that can hold up to a very impressive 77 pounds of weight! Overall this durability will make your Thumb Leolast longer and work harder than your other pocket lights.

The Thumb Leo features dual switch capabilities as well as an adjustable head. On the body of this light is a switch to the main white LED light source and one for the Ultraviolet light. The dual switch system makes it easier than ever to switch on the right light that you need! The head of the light has 120 degrees of flexibility. As a user who is working on cars, out in the wilderness, or even just on a walk - you will be able to comfortably aim the light beam where it is needed.

Moreover, the Nitecore Thumb Leo also features a 365 nm wavelength ultraviolet light in the same housing as the white LED. That's the shortest wavelength possible with LED technology - well outside the visible spectrum of light. The Thumb UV has two front-mounted LEDs (white and UV). Perfect for law enforcement, forensic work, and ID checking. UV light has many professional uses, including:

• Checking hand stamps at clubs
• Examining artwork and glasswork for hidden repairs
• Forensic evidence gathering
• HVAC
• Pest control
• Counterfeit detection
• Scorpion detection
• Clean room inspection

Note that eyes and skin can be damaged by ultraviolet light exposure. Always point UV light away from yourself and others. Keep out of the reach of children.
