Description

Nitecore TINI-2

Multifunctional OLED Display

Make way for the new and improved Nitecore TINI-2. Featuring a new multifunctional OLED display, this screen shows real-time information like remaining runtime, brightness level, user mode, plus battery voltage & level. With this information, it's easier to know when your battery needs to charge, if you need to adjust your output, or how long you have left before your mode steps down.

Dual Emitters & Switches

Like previous incarnations of the TINI, the TINI-2 utilizes a dual switch user-interface. In conjunction with the OLED display, it's a breeze to select your output or mode including direct access to turbo or ultralow. Plus, dual OSRAM P8 LEDs give off an impressive 500 lumen output perfect for daily use all focused through a TIR lens for a far-reaching and uniform beam.

2 User & Lockout Modes

The Nitecore TINI-2 comes pre-programmed with two user modes: demo and daily. Demo is designed for EDC and short-bursts of illumination while Daily is optimized for outdoor and longer uses. Meanwhile, the TINI-2 inherits the two lockout modes that were originally seen on the TM10K. Half lockout mode prevents the power button from activating the light and full lockout mode deactivates both buttons preventing them from turning on the light. Both are ideal for preserving battery and LED life while traveling and when your light isn't in use.

Good light with one big caveat

"I had the TINI in copper, and then got the TINI 2 in black. Loved it at first! Really nice having the OLED screen to tell you battery status and how many minutes are left at a particular brightness. But over time I found that chassis screws would loosen and be lost. If I got another one, I'd take them all out when new, and Loctite them in place with either purple or blue Loctite. The biggest issue for me though is that the lockout mode doesn't seem to work properly. I leave the TINI 2 in either lockout mode 1 or 2, and when I pull my key out of a jacket pocket I very often find the light in the on position and the battery almost depleted. There is a dedicated way to get the light out of lockout mode (quick push and hold), and it seems that a typical day with keys in a jacket pocket causes the button(s) to be pushed in that dedicated way to take the light out of lockout and turn it on. I'm currently looking to replace the TINI 2 with possibly a Rovyvon E-series as that needs 4 rapid pushes to take it out of lockout."

Excellent Little Mini LED Light

"This is the perfect size and has two LEDs. The value at feature is that I have the titanium version and you also have a display screen on it to monitor battery charge power and functionality. Fits perfectly on a keychain and replace my five year-old mini flashlight that I got from here."

— The B. (5/5)

Tiny flashlight fun

"I just received this stainless steel version of the Tiny-2 to add to my collection. Now I have all the different metal bodies that Nitecore makes for this model. This has to be the smallest hitec flashlight. It deserves a place on a key ring. It has a low parasitic drain so it will have a charge when needed. Amazing quality."

— Robert R. (5/5)

Nitecore Tini 2

"Great little Keychain Light. One of the smallest and brightest I could find. It's perfect for lighting a path without having to remember to bring a flashlight. Great gift idea."

— Wayne H. (5/5)

Came in handy when I got stuck hiking in the dark

"Didn't plan ahead and I got stuck hiking after the sun set, but this light saved me. Blew my iPhone flashlight out of the water. Great backup for when you're forgetful or unprepared like me. Only issue is that turbo makes it quite hot and doesn't last super long, but high was enough to get me home in one piece. Still carry it everywhere!"

Designed To Become Landfill

"Battery is not serviceable or replaceable."

— Bobo (1/5)

The Perfect Light for Your Keys

"I love this light. It gets SUPER super bright for being so small, which was great last winter when it would get dark out before I left. It comes in handy when I least expect it, especially at work, or even in the car, and I can recharge it easily so I don't have to ever think about replacing the batteries. One downside is that it adds a little bulk to my keys, but honestly I got used to it, and it's so worth it. I can't recommend it enough!"

— Hannah G. (5/5)

Great little light but is it really producing 500 lumens?

"Like the ability to see how much electricity I have left. . . just not sure it's really producing 500 lumens."

— Roger H. (4/5)

Complicated to use

"For the TNI2: It has a nice range of brilliance. You are warned in the instructions that staying in the turbo mode will cause it to get very hot. My main concern is with the 12 commands you have to learn using the 2 buttons. Press together, press long, press and hold, press short, short press and then long press, different if the light is on or off, and some of those in serial and some together. I thought it would be a nice, small light for my wife's keychain. It is useless for her because of its complexity. I have yet to use it myself; so I cannot address battery life. I'm still learning. I bought three, and would return 2 if it weren't for shipping and 15% restocking charges that I would incur."

— Bruce (3/5)

Lite&Bright

"Excellent keychain flashlight for every day carry. Very well made with many features. I carry my keychain in a pocket with a couple of knives and some change so I have to put it in lock out mode to keep the battery from draining. Great price, quality and fast shipping."

Q&A

So…… the battery “pack”, it’s not replaceable / serviceable? So this light, it has a finite lifetime, once the “pack” no longer charges or holds a charge it’s just landfill?
The light is warrantied for 2 years. If the battery fails within that two years then warranty coverage would take care of that. The battery pack is not something customer serviceable or replaceable.
What is the warranty
I am attaching a link to their warranty page but lights with built in battery packs have a 24 month warranty. https://flashlight.nitecore.com/Server/detail/cd/207
So, the battery is NOT replaceable? So once the battery begins to fail this just becomes trash?
Nitecore products have a two year warranty on devices with a built in battery pack.
