Great value and performance in a small package. . .
"This is a great little flashlight. I wouldn't really consider it something to attach to your car keys, but absolutely something to have in a Grab'n'Go bag for photography, inspection work, safety/rescue, camping, etc. Very convenient to have a charge port built in; the performance and build quality is pretty good, too! subtracting 1 star because it seems like the 700 lumen ""turbo"" doesn't last very too long and it would be helpful to have a ""high"" mode closer to 300 Lumens."

Very Good!
"I myself really like this light, the med. sett. is what I rely on with this light and of course its a Nitecore so there is nothing to dislike."

Great light
"Plenty of light from something so small. I love the mid output most 35 lumens for 8 hrs."

TIP SE is twice as bright as TIP, but operating system is a step backward
"I carried the TIP as EDC for nearly a year and liked the 300+ lumen max. So, clearly, I like the two powerful LED's around 700. But, the operating system is more like the Tini than the TIP, that is, the clever lockout function on the TIP is missing from the TIP SE. They offer the option of carrying in the 'demo mode' where it shuts off after 30 seconds. (boo!) They also recommend using the clip to cover the buttons when in your pocket, but that is not practical. (When you need the light, you don't want to mess with moving the clip. ) The USB 3 is a faster charge, but does require that you have a USB3 charging cable. Bottom line, it could have been great, but as it is, it's a compromise and accidental lighting in your pocket is an issue, where it was not with the TIP."

TIP SE
"Great little light, I keep this one in my pocket at all times. I have the TIP2, TUP, Tube, and the original TIP among other lights, and this gets the most use. It is easy to carry in the pocket and the brightness levels are good. Glad they switched to usb c. I will be getting one or two more of the TIP SE, probably keep one in the car, the house, and one for carry."

No problems, nice light
"A very nice small light, I just wish there were a way to disable it when it's in your pocket. I have turned it on by accident several times. Steve"

Tough case and VERY bright
"I bought this a few weeks ago, and it's been my edc ever since. I was using a 300 lumen key light, which was great. . . but this one really blasts the light. Since it has a very low lumen setting, it's fine for most things. But, when you really need to light up the night, the 700 lumen setting works very well. If I want more light than that. . . or need a longer time I'll grab one of my bigger lights, but those are awkward to carry everyday. This is an aluminum case, with options to carry alone, on a belt loop or key ring, or in a pocket with the clip. I haven't needed to use it for a long continuous period so I can't tell you if the run times listed are accurate. I just know this light is easy to carry and I don't even think about it until I need it. It's a great little light which will surprise you with it's versatility and brightness."
