The folks at Nitecore have heard your pleas and introduced the Nitecore TM36 Lite, an even smaller version of the extremely popular TM36 model. The TM36 Lite features a compact battery compartment that allows it to be powered by 4 x 18650 or 8 x CR123As, which has allowed the light to be slimmed down to a truly hand held searchlight size. This flashlight is perfect for late night exploration, search and rescue and hiking expeditions. Featuring the same powerful Luminus SBT-70 LED, the TM36 Lite can blast out an incredible 1800 Lumens of light just like the full size TM36.

The only things that have been changed in this version are the overall size and the power source. All of your favorite features from the TM36 have returned, including the multi-function OLED display that shows vital information such as battery voltage, estimated remaining run time and internal temperature. The light maintains 8 unique brightness levels that can be easily adjusted to meet your needs, as well as SOS, Beacon and a tactical strobe mode that can be used for self defense. This model is rechargeable as well, and can rapidly and safely charge Li-Ion 18650 batteries without the use of an external charger.

The aluminum body has further been Type III hard anodized to prevent scratches and cosmetic damage. Rubber gaskets and O-rings ensure a water tight body that has been rated IPX-8 Waterproof, and is ideal for all weather use and can even be temporarily submerged up to 2 meters without damage.
