"The only possible problem could be the tail cap threads that appear to be plastic. They might be easier to cross thread. I don't know if it can handle the lower internal resistance of an Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA. I just submitted that question. It won't use my Eneloop cells. Apparently they are a bit too short."
Good all rounder for little $
"This was an impulse buy but I find myself using it a lot. It has steady red blink and an SOS blink (hopefully never to be used, but it's in my PFD just in case). I wish the light color were a bit warmer. Even for a cool LED colors seem extremely washed out. But the slide out lantern is a great feature. 80 lumens is a bit low for the size, but for the price and utility I really can't complain."
