Nite Ize CamJam Tie Down Strap - 18-foot

2 Setup Options

The Nite Ize CamJam Tie Down Strap gives users the ability to keep bulky objects in place during travel. The 18-foot-long belt features a woven design of polypropylene materials, which increases strength and durability. On 1 end of the strap is a die cast zinc alloy CamJam tension device with a non-slip buckle. To set up a configuration, simply slide the nude end through and buckle and pull tight to create a high-tension wrap. This style of setup is called the Loop Configuration and is the way most cam-lock systems are set up. An alternative way to assemble the belt is by first anchoring it, prior to loading large-sized objects. This will help prevent movement and will increase the belt's overall strength. The Lockout Configuration is more similar to ratchet type devices. The Cam Jam Tie Down Strap is also safer than standard cam-lock mechanisms because it gives users complete control of the tension, which will prevent unexpected movement while unloading bulk items.
