"I will probably never use this for keys. I will be using this as a means of attaching my 'modules' in my backpack. In the past, I have just used 550 or other sturdy nylon cord to attach the individual bags to my pack. This should give me the ability to just unclip the module lanyards if I need to use the gear in a different location (like my water filtration setup) . I will also be able to easily clip the lanyard to a belt loop or the like to make certain that I don't lose my gear if I should slip or something. Beats untying / tying the lanyards all the time! I have not used these in this capacity as of yet, but I think they should work admirably! Art B"
"The MicroLock S-biners included are really '#0. 5' size, a bit bigger than #0, and perhaps the smallest really useful size apart from attaching a single key. I bought this assemblage really for the S-Biners included, intending to give these as gifts along with Fenix CL05 'lipstick' lights as low illumination small lights for single or two person tents, clipping them onto the lamp loops in the tents. For my old fingers, unlocking the MicroLock is quite difficult, but for younger, non-arthritic fingers and thumbs, opening the lock shouldn't be a problem. If you've ever had an S-Biner open to release your key or key ring flashlight or Spydie or SAK Classic knife, then you'll realize how the MicroLock S-Biner allows better security. Complaints? Apart from the somewhat small #0. 5 MicroLock's central twisty lock taking a bit of thumb and finger strength, I find the #0. 5 a bit 'too small' compared to the #1 size, which Nite Ize seems to have abandoned for improvement. They do have a SlideLock for teh #2 size, which is a bit too big for key ring attachment of mini flashlight or key ring knife."
