"I got this for an old 2D Maglite because I got tired of the incan bulbs always breaking, not to mention the dim yellow light they put out. The LED drop-in is an improvement and makes my Maglite useable again. A little brighter and a whiter beam of light."

"This is for flashlights with two to six cells. You will not get the maximum brightness with a 2-cell light. In addition, there is a center dark spot that detracts from the light pattern. It is brighter than a normal PR-2 bulb, but probably not worth the cost when you can get a much brighter flashlight for about the same price."
