Description
The Niteye B10 LED bike light is a powerful option for night time riders looking for a durable and versatile way to see and be seen. This light is built with the needs of serious bikers in mind, with an easy-to-use adjustable strap for attaching to the handlebars and a remote switch that can secured in a variety of positions for the most comfortable orientation. A remote battery pack, in a protective rubberized housing easily attaches to the bike's frame for a powerful, yet out-of-the way setup. The BT10 runs off four included li-ion 18650 batteries that are housed in a protective casing and can be easily recharged with the included wall adapter. In high mode, the BT10 produces 600 lumens, but can also be toned down to a 200 lumen medium, and 50 lumen low mode so you can find the ideal lighting for your situation. A 200 meter beam distance also offers substantial spill so your peripheral environment will remain seen as you move forward. Niteye built this light with Aerospace aluminum and protective rubber casings to allow this light to be resistant to rain, splashes, and the punishment of every-day wear. Great light One Flaw

"The light is well made, very compact, very bright but one flaw, the small part that connects it to the piece holding it on the handle bar is thin and my bike tipped over in my house bumping a leather chair and it broke off. This is an engineering oversight and so obvious when looking at the two prongs holding it onto the base. Now I have to find a new base attachment or zip tie the light on in a way it is not designed for. If this was made slightly thicker, stronger it would be the perfect light and 5 stars. Just don't bump it into anything."

Excellent light for bicycle commuters

"I commute to work (6 miles one way) year round in Massachusetts (including winter whenever the snow is off the edge of the road). Approximately a third of my commutes are in darkness. Over the years I have purchased several bicycle headlamps, none of then fully satisfactory. I have also purchased various high end flashlights and clamped them on my bicycle, again not fully satisfactory. This product has every feature I desire. Bright, medium and low light. Also a push button for a bright flashing light while the button is held down. Low light is more than adequate for bicycling paved roads. The literature claims the low light will function for 64 hours on a fully charged battery. I have not yet confirmed. I suspect it will be less in below freezing weather. There is an indicator light that will come on when the battery is low."
