Niteye has gone ahead and upgraded their already powerful EYE40 searchlight with CREE XM-L2 LEDs, this go around. The EYE40 still maintains its compact profile, durable aircraft aluminum construction and intuitive magnetic ring interface. The included removable handle makes wielding the EYE40 very comfortable, especially if you're on a search and rescue mission. With a maximum beam distance of up to 420 meters, the EYE40 sure to help you find whatever you are looking for. Lighting Technology

4x CREE XM-L2 LEDs

The EYE40 has been fitted with four of the latest XM-L2 LEDs from CREE, outputting an extremely bright 3150 lumens. The toughened ultra-clear mineral glass and custom designed alloy reflectors allow the EYE40 to be the perfect searchlight, with a well balanced output of flood and throw. Accessing the different outputs is achieved by using the intuitive magnetic ring interface, which can be turned clockwise for Low, Mid, High and Turbo. Turn the magnetic ring counter clockwise to cycle between Strobe, Cruise Warning and finally the power indication.

Powering the EYE40 are four rechargeable Li-Ion 18650, which can be recharged while in the light, with its integrated charge port. A battery power indicator is located at the head of the light to keep you informed of how much power if left. Four LED lights, in the shape of a battery will display either 100%, 75%, 50% and finally 25% power left, so you are never caught by surprise. The EYE40 is IPX-8 waterproof and impact resistant up to 1.5 meters, so if you happen to drop the light in a puddle, you can be rest assured the batteries and light are good to go.Features:
