"I've owned my M3X for several months now and it is the best light I've ever owned. I had a Fenix TK61 which I thought for sure it was going to be a lot better light but I'll tell you from experience it is not! The Olight M3X Triton reaches just as far with just as much intensity. I use my M3X every morning for 30-45 minutes and im using Orbtronic 3500mAh 18650 cells and it will shine forever! Excellent light for the money."
"As far as an all round flashlight goes, for me this has probably been the best I have ever had. Mode two for close up work and mode one for long distance. my neighborhood isn't big enough to really test the full throw, but I can shoot a long city block with no problem. For the money you can't go wrong."
"My 3rd Olight now, this is one of the most impressive lights I own from any brand. The throw is incredible in its distance, and the 1200 lumens feels much brighter to me than others I have seen. Granted, the head of the flashlight is bigger than most I've used which helps the throw, it's still just a badass light. I have only had it for a short time now, so I can't comment on durability or anything. The light feels solid though, and I've had enough experience with Olight to know they are generally great lights. I love the look of the light, and the feel is great too. It's light for its size, and I'd venture to say powerful enough for a searchlight that you don't need anything brighter. I have a 2000 lumen searchlight that spreads a little more than the M3X, but in the hot spot itself the M3X actually feels brighter. I'm using it with 3 RC123A batteries. Fantastic purchase so far, one of my new favorite lights."

"I purchased a 700 lumen M3X back in April 2011, and I've always loved that light. It's actually been my favorite flashlight of all time, and it's been at my bedside every night. Because of that, and because Olight increased the power to 1200 lumens, I just had to order one of these new lights. I'm totally satisfied with it! My wife thinks I'm a little crazy, but the beam on the 1200 lumen light is noticeably brighter and has more throw. They're both great lights, and as always, I received excellent customer service from the folks at Batteryjunction. com. If Olight ever comes come out with a 2000 lumen M3X, I'll have to part with some more cash!"
