UI needs work
"I was very interested in an Obulb Pro that could controlled by Bluetooth. The UI disappointed me though. First the good. The OBP is a good size. The High White mode of 240 Lumens is very useful. The larger capacity battery gives much longer runtimes than the previous versions. I like the battery meter and projected runtimes for each mode shown on the app. Now the bad. The OBP does not have both High and Low White modes like the previous versions. The White mode is adjustable only via the app. I would have liked to see a sleep timer mode available where the OBP turns off after a set amount of time. I do not know if this is a feature or flaw, but after about eight hours, the OBP will show OFFLINE if the OBP was off and then you cannot control it via Bluetooth. I found if I turn on the OBP manually and then it will go back ONLINE, or I can just keep closing and opening the app and trying to get it back ONLINE and eventually, it will connect. I hate this feature-You can adjust the intensity of each color via the app, but once you do, that level of brightness will remain even if you choose not to use the app and just control the OBP by hand. That means if you use the app to put the White mode at 10 percent and then want to use it on High of 100 percent, you have to use the app to change it. You cannot just press the button on the OBP and cycle to it. You can have the all colors be a certain level and the white be different though. But ALL the non-white colors will be the same level, even the flashing modes. It would have been nice to be able to control each mode independently. I have a feeling Olight will come out with an upgraded version, unless they can just update the app and then the consumer would not have to buy another one. Overall, I am disappointed in this purchase."
