Description

Olight Perun 2

Next Generation Perun

Olight is taking their headlamp game to the next level with the Perun 2. With more lumens, longer runtimes, and brand new battery, there's nothing that this light can't accomplish outdoors or in. Upgraded to a 21700 battery, the Perun 2 now has an impressive 2,500 lumen output great for hikers, campers, and other outdoor enthusiasts and a max runtime of 12.5 days.

Proximity Detector

Oight has placed several safety precautions within the interface of the Perun 2 including a proximity detector. Never worry about accidentally blinding yourself or your friends again. This headlamp will drop brightness the second an obstruction is detected. Or, manually adjust to one of 5 output levels by pressing the large body switch located at the head of the light.

Magnetic Charging & Hands-Free Use

Like all Olight flashlights, the Perun 2 uses their signature magnetic charging system for quick and easy recharging anywhere you are. Plus, the magnetic base that facilitates the charging can also be used to go hands-free. Want to mount the Perun 2 somewhere that's not the headstrap? Stick it to anything magnetic and it will stay, providing hands-free lighting so you're free to move about unhindered.

A Lot Of Headlamp

"This is a big headlamp that can go the long haul with a super bright LED and a long-lasting 21700 battery. It also has a very nice smooth and easy to activate power button. But for me, most times this is more weight than I want to have on my head, and more light output than I really need. I see the new Perun 3 is a bit lighter, though. The 16340 based headlamps are nice and lightweight, but don't last long enough. Come on Olight, give us an 18650 headlamp!"

"got it to go with my green collection. perfect fit"

Super bright, long runtimes

"I got this Perun 2 to match with my other Olight, the Warrior X Turbo, since they share the same battery type, and same charging method with their magnetic cable. The included battery is 4000mah, but I have already gotten a 5000mah replacement, so I will get even longer runtimes than the ones in the specifications. Compared to my Nitecore HC33, the Perun2 is bigger and beefier, with a more aggressive knurling that give it a better grip. Its size also makes it a bit heavier for than the HC33, but the included headband is very comfortable, so the front heaviness just takes a short while to get used to. 2500 lumen on a headlamp is amazing, and the beam throw is very good for a headlamp. The retaining clip is very good, seems very robust and you can use it in three different positions (two are really useful, the third not so much). I am very happy with the light, and highly recommend it."

The Perfect LED Headlamp

"Whether you are running at night training for a marathon, exploring a new cave or a Cenote down in the Mexican Caribbean or just working on your own vehicle, this is the perfect headlamp that enables your hands to be free. This little guy is the 'Jack of all trades'. Not too big and not too small, but powerful enough to accomplish the task at hand. Flashlight technology has come a long way since I was first issued my Marine Corps Boot Camp flashlight back in 93."
