Olight R20 Javelot LED Flashlight
Impressive Output
The newest edition to the Olight family, the R20 Javelot LED Flashlight is the upgraded successor to the R20 Seeker, improved in nearly every aspect. Equipped with a powerful CREE XP-L HI LED, this impressive light is able to produce up to 900 Lumens of illumination that can shine up to 314 meters away, rather impressive for a flashlight less than 6 inches long. While on its maximum output of 900 Lumens, the flashlight will automatically drop to a dimmer 450 Lumens after 3 minutes in order to avoid overheating and to conserve battery. In addition to the highest output, the Javelot features two lower outputs of 100 Lumens and 10 Lumens, all of which can be accessed and cycled through using the easy-to-use rubber tailcap switch.
No Charger Needed!
The Javelot is powered a uniquely designed 18650, which can be recharged while still inside the light thanks to its convenient micro-USB charging port, located underneath a waterproof and dustproof ring just below the head. The unique 18650 battery allows the light to run on its highest output for an two hours and thirty minutes after it dims and can run on its lowest output for up to 80 hours on a single charge!. Other 18650 batteries are able to function within the Javelot, however only the customized battery included with the flashlight can be charged internally.
Convenience and Durability
The Javelot's body is constructed from durable, aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and is coated with a hard-anodized finish, giving it superior impact resistance and water resistance. The light's LED is surrounded by a smooth reflector to maximize throw distance and is shielded by a toughened glass lens complete with double-sided anti-reflective coating. The light's tail cap comes with a lanyard hole and features tail stand capability for area lighting. The Javelot even features an LED Power Indicator above its charging port that will glow red when the flashlight's voltage dips below 3.0 Volts and while the light is charging, and will glow green once charging is complete.
