Olight has gone ahead and refreshed the S Series line, so now your favorite S15 from Olight features integrated charging technology. The S15R is a very small yet powerful flashlight that has been constructed from hard-anodized aircraft-grade aluminum. Measuring in at 3.5 inches and weighing under two ounces, the S15R is the perfect EDC light to have when out and about. Featuring a dual purpose magnetic tailcap, which allows you to attach it to any metal surface to be used as a worklight. Also, it will attach to the included micro-USB charging dock, which can then be mounted to any flat surface with the included double sided tape. A really cool feature is the glow-in-the-dark O-ring in the bezel, which will help you locate the light in the event that you accidentally drop it. If you do happen to drop it on the ground or in a puddle, you are all set because the S15R is impact resistant up to 1.5 meters and is IPX-7 waterproof.

Lighting Technology

CREE LED

Equipped with the latest XM-L2 LED from CREE, the S15R is able to emit a very bright 280 lumens. Accessing the different output modes is done via the multi-function side switch. You can access strobe mode by double clicking the side switch when the light is on. If that is too much light, you can get into moonlight mode by pressing and holding the side switch when the light is off. The S15R will cycle from the 7 lumen low mode, to the 70 lumen medium mode, and finally up to the 280 lumen high mode.

Micro-USB Charging Dock

Powering the S15R is a lithium-ion 750mAh 14500 rechargeable battery, which is included. A back up Alkaline and NiMh AA battery can also be used, making the S15R very versatile. Reverse polarity protection will protect the batteries and the light in the event you improperly insert the batteries. The S15R includes a battery power indicator located in the side switch that will glow red when the battery is on its way out. You can then magnetically snap the tail of the light to the included micro-USB charging dock to recharge the battery. An extra USB port is included on the charging dock, so you can charge another device while the waiting for the S15R to charge. Something to keep in mind when charging is that plugging the dock into a port on the side of a monitor or another kind of non-powered USB hub will not work. Features:
