Small But Mighty

Intense illumination in the palm of your hand! One of the newest additions to Olight's S Series, the S1R Baton LED Flashlight is an upgraded version of the popular S1 Baton, complete with a higher output and a number of new features. Less than 3 inches in length, the S1R is just barely longer than the S1 Baton, yet can generate almost twice the brightness as its predecessor. Powered by a specialized IMR 16340 battery (included), the S1R features a special Turbo Burst setting that produces 900 Lumens of brightness for 30 seconds, then gradually lowers to 300 Lumens to save battery life and prevent possible overheating. A bonus battery is also included in this package. The light also features 4 other constant brightness outputs ranging from 300 Lumens all the down to a dim 0.5 Lumens, as well as a tactical Strobe Function that can be used to signal for help or disorient an attacker. All of the S1R's outputs are easily accessible using the light's easy-to-use side switch.

Convenience is Key

The Olight S1R is designed with a number of favorable features to make it as convenient as possible for its user. When the light is turned on or off, its brightness will increase or decrease gradually, instead of all at once like most LED flashlights, to give the user more time to adjust their eyes to this new level of brightness. The S1R also comes with a special lock out function, which prevents the light from being accidentally turned on when it is in your pocket or bag, saving precious battery life. The EDC even comes with a dual-purpose magnetic base, which allows it to be attached to various metal surfaces for hands-free lighting, and acts as a charging port so the included IMR 16340 can be charged internally.

Durable Design

The S1R wouldn't be nearly as useful if it couldn't deal with thew constant wear and tear that any EDC is likely to go through. Crafted from incredibly durable aluminum alloy, the light comes with a hard anodized finish, which not only protects against scratches, but even mild to moderate impacts and falls. The S1R uses a specialized TIR (Total Internal Refraction) lens to safely protect its CREE XM-L2 LED, while also providing a well balanced beam. The S1R is fully waterproof, able to be submerged under up to 2 meters of water with no damage, making it safe to use just about anywhere.
