Packing six CREE XM-L LED's, the X6 just might be able signal in your favorite superhero. Just to get an idea of how bright this light actually is, the X6 is equivalent to lighting 102,400 candles! The precision crafted lens and reflectors project light up to 700 yards, which is an amazing seven football fields. It has three brightness levels and a stunning strobe mode, controlled by a button on the handle. Adding to the X6's versatility, a standard tripod can be mounted on the bottom of the light means this device can be set up for area lighting in a workshop, camplight, or photo shoot.
A split-battery design features a built-in high capacity rechargeable lithium battery attached remotely to the main body to integrate the high demands of heat dissipation while maintaining low weight for the main body. This makes extended use comfortable and safe for the user. The X6 works directly with 110V and 220V AC electric supply. Terminal Control Mode allows you to power the X6 by a car battery or other 12V power source. Advanced cooling fins and a high-efficiency synchronous step-down constant current driver circuit keep the light from overheating so you can trust this gear to work every time for as long as you need it.

"Bought this as a collectible and when I went to use it today, the rubber cushioning on the flashlight and battery had degraded and become very sticky. The light works but it's as if someone had sprayed it with liquid resin. Not good considering this was a $400 purchase. I really hope Olight steps up and either replaces the flashlight or offers a credit towards a current product."

"This is my 2nd unit in 3 years. The first one is still going strong in spite of my concerns with the battery cable. It's just a monster light. Nothing (save the XM18 MAELSTROM led Fourseven search light) puts out as much light as this thing. The only battery-powered searchlight you can get to the next level of light output is buying a into a cinema/video light system (or the Maelstrom). That will cost 3 to 10 times as much and won't be as portable. A simple mod to the front bezel and it becomes a incredible soft light for studio shooting in remote locations (fresnel, warming gel and softbox). It's also an amazing bounce light (aimed at the ceiling) for lighting up small and mediums size rooms in case of power outages. I now use the carry strap as the battery holder (battery clip is really tight and strong) so the whole package is easy to carry and manage. I keep a second battery on the strap as a spare."
"I have had this light for about a year now. There was a power failure in a hotel and used the Marauder to light up the lobby area. It can be used in place of car headlights because it is much brighter and shines much farther. Very light to carry and well made."
"This is the brightest light I have (owned for a year now). It\'s equivalent to a 100 to 150W HMI at 35W power consumption. It also doesn\'t have the usual high ultraviolet and IR radiation that waste most of your power (the way HMIs/HIDs do). The full output mode doesn\'t overheat the light the way most other lights have to throttle back after a few minutes at this power level. I wish there was a larger battery option for longer run times (1 hour for full output), a convenient way to attach the battery pack to the light and a wide angle lens attachment. The light itself is very well built (dropped several times w/no visible signs of damage) but a little leery of the battery umbilical cord. It looks like the manufacturer put it on as an after thought. Hasn\'t failed yet. Light was well worth the price compared to anything else out there."
