"This is the first headlamp that I have had. I wasn\'t sure if I would actually like a headlamp since I am so used to using a flashlight. That all changed when I had to fix my coolant system after sundown. Even in my garage, it is dark when you work under your vehicle even with the lights on. This headlamp allowed me to see while leaves both my hands free so I could use my tools. I usually leave it on flood but you can adjust it to tighten the beam up for better throw. I haven\'t really used the red leds but it is a nice feature, I could see you using this feature when you are out camping. Maybe if you were in your tent and needed some light without waking others up. Anyways, very good light and I am digging headlights, looking on buying a couple of others. This thing also works great when working/crawling in an attic."
