The Pelican 1490 is designed to fit 17" laptops and smaller, and is lightweight enough to be easily transported in your car or on a train, airplane, or bus. The 1490 is kept water tight through the use a polymer o-ring and tongue-and-groove fit, and the Automatic Pressure Equalization Valve releases built up air pressure while keeping water out for optimal air pressure control.
An optional foam lining offers additional protection for your contents, providing maximum resistance against drops and impacts.
