Pelican has greatly improved upon the old 1920, creating a new model that can now generate up to 224 lumens and has a maximum runtime of over 8 hours. With an IPX7 waterproof rating, the Pelican 1920 can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water meaning you can take it just about anywhere and use it in almost any type of weather! Featuring an anodized aluminum body, the Pelican 1920's durable construction will last even during the toughest conditions. Simply push the on the button to turn the light into high mode and press it again to change to the lower setting. Plus, with a built-in removable pocket clip, easily transport this light with you wherever you need to go.

"Love this light! Extremely bright and throws light rather far for a pen light. I've been carrying this light for almost a year and it's been beaten to death (dropping it, tossing it, leaving it in my pants in the washer, etc. ) but still runs like a champ. I do notice the pocket clip is really stiff and hard to get clipped onto my pocket but at least it won't fall out easily."

My favorite pen light
"The only other pen light that comes close to this one would be the 4Sevens Preon 2, but for my needs 160+ lumens is way too bright and I have no use for a strobe mode or any other mode for that matter except on and off. The new LED 2AAA mini mag lite is also nice, but I prefer a clicky tail switch. The run time in real life terms is really quite nice. Not as long as my Streamlight Stylus Pro, but pretty close. The throw is also better than any other pen light I\'ve tried including the Preon 2. It\'s the best all around EDC/Work light on the market today in my opinion. Pelican\'s customer service and warranty are excellent. The only thing that would make this light better would be if it was IPX-8 water resistant."
