Brilliant Hybrid Beam Illumination
The Petzl Actik is a comfortable, high-quality headlamp with an incredible range of uses, from a hands-free work light or running companion to an emergency response tool. With mixed flood and spot white light settings, the Actik illuminates your immediate surroundings while also casting well into the distance so you can clearly distinguish objects in your path and plan your next move. Added red lighting is extremely useful and substantially increases the endurance of the headlamp with a strobe setting for emergencies which is visible from 6 football fields' distance away and runs for 400 hours!
Dual Fuel Supply
Petzl's "Hybrid Concept" design is based around the ability to deploy alternate power sources to achieve the desired performance. This gives you a lot of flexibility to use 3 x AAA batteries or the Petzl CORE rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack when one or the other runs out so you don't have to break your progress for a recharge break or to get some new batteries.
