Durable Hybrid Power Design
When you need your hands free to keep your running stride or complete tasks, the Petzl Tikka CORE is a headlamp with a Micro-USB rechargeable battery with a flood light capable of firing 450 lumens 75 meters downrange so you can maintain situational awareness while active.
Excellent runtimes reaching over 100 hours of white constant light or 400 hours of red strobe light are amplified by the hybrid power concept design. This enables you to experience peak performance from your CORE battery and then to exchange the power supply for powerful AAA primary batteries, so you can keep a commonplace backup power supply on standby.
Directional Plate Enables Vertical Aiming
The Tikka CORE pairs with the streching nylon headstrap via a quick mount system, from which the lamp can be detached to access the battery compartment or wash the headband. This mount system incorporates a vertical tilt action that enables users to direct and aim the light without straining their necks. This capability is especially useful for runners, who cast light downward to avoid blinding one another, and those on the job, who can tailor their headlamp orientation to meet the needs of their task and workspaces.
