Petzl brings you the TRIOS Caving Helmet with the ULTRA VARIO Multi-Beam Headlamp for you avid climbers and cavers looking for a simple 2-in-1 solution. This durable, lightweight, and ventilated helmet is designed for the toughest conditions, as it is constructed from an ABS shell with an expanded polystyrene liner and polyester webbing straps. The 2-in-1 headlamp and helmet light combination give users the choice of protection desired. If you are spelunking or traveling through dangerous caverns, you may choose the full helmet design to stay protected. The TRIOS caving helmet is also removable and includes an adjustable elastic head strap for mounting the light directly to your forehead instead.

Multiple Outputs

The Petzl TRIOS helmet light is an ultra-powerful multi-beam headlamp with a rechargeable battery. Four modes of light intensity are provided to accommodate various applications, therefore making this headlamp great for adapting to both close or long-range work. The maximum output, also called "movement", offers 520 lumens of light, which runs for over two hours. As with all flashlights, lower lighting outputs offer longer runtimes. If you are looking for a long-distance output, switch the TRIOS helmet light to the "distance vision" option for 330 lumens of light and a 210-meter throw. Simply rotate the selector knob to easily cycle through the different modes. The knob even works while wearing gloves! This caving headlamp also features a battery charge indicator and flashing signal to alert you of when the batteries are low.
