MiniStar31M-EX LED Conversion Kit for 4-6 D Cell MagLites. That's right; you do not need a 4 to 6 D cell Maglite to run this 1000 lumen LED head. The upgrade consisted of replacing the stock head with the minister 31 M-EX LED unit. The new battery pack is a simple drop-in, screw the tail cap back on and you are in business. All-in-all, this setup breathes new life into the old incandescent and makes it rechargeable too! What a difference in light output; I am happy with this purchase."
