This compact charger is designed specifically for use with 12V SLA batteries with capacities between 4 and 8 Ah, outputting 1000 mA of current to quickly but steadily return them to full power. The device comes with a pair of distinct charging modes that it automatically selects depending on your battery's needs. "FAST" charging mode uses a higher voltage to recharge the power source as swiftly as possible without hurting battery life. Once charging is complete, the PSC-121000A-C will switch to "FLOAT" Mode, which uses a lower voltage to maintain the full charge while staying connected indefinitely, so it's safe to leave on its own to charge.
