Powertac E3 Keychain LED Light - Gen IV
A Mighty LED in a Tiny Body
Searching for a light that's small enough to hang on your keychain, but won't weigh it down? Powertac's E3, now in its 4th generation, is ready to be your pocket light. At just over 3" long, the E3 Gen IV is about the length of your finger. It's one of the smallest lights to feature CREE's premium XP-G2 R5 LED, a powerhouse LED that's often featured in lights twice this size and three times the price! This mighty LED allows it to fire 168 lumens on the power of a single AAA battery.
Ingenious Defense
A flashlight may not spring to mind as a self-defense tool, but the E3 has features that can keep you safe in a pinch. Access the strobe mode to disorient attackers. The bright flashing will temporarily blind eyes that have adjusted to the dark. And if that's not enough to deter them, the strike bezel (A.K.A. the front surface) adds force to a strike. The wavy pattern ("crenellations") concentrate the impact into a smaller surface area. That'll make them think twice.
Tiny, Tough, and Tricky
Keychains get dropped, tossed, and taken out in the rain, so Powertac knew they had to make the E3 Gen IV rugged. Believe it or not, the E3 actually has the highest possible waterproof rating of IPX-8. It can be fully submerged in up to 2 m of water. And the body is constructed out of aerospace grade aluminum that's then anodized with the thickest possible plating. Even if your E3 takes a swandive into a puddle, you're good to go.
