Top of the Line Tactical Features
The Powertac E6 is built with all of the modern features available to tactical flashlights. The CREE XM-L LED is capable of up to 700 lumens of output, but can be lowered for everyday use. A blinding strobe mode can be used for tactical or defensive purposes, and makes use of the full power of the CREE LED. Sleek, simple design makes the light easy to hold in all situations, and operation is as easy as pressing the tail switch. The included pocket clip makes latching the light on to clothing a breeze, and built in cigar ring holder increases the ease of use.
Power Options
The E6 not only includes some of the best tactical design features available, it has a useful variety of power options. The light can draw power from 2 primary CR123A batteries, as well as the rechargeable RCR123A Li-Ion variant. The E6 is also capable of running on a single 18650 Li-Ion battery, and retains access to all modes. Whatever kind of battery you have available you can rest assured that the E6 is compatible.
Tougher Than the Rest
Tactical lights are build with extreme durability in mind, and the E6 is no exception. Crafted out of lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum, the body of the light is supplemented with a stainless steel bezel and a copper base plate to diffuse heat. The body of the light has been type III hard-anodized, making it even more resilient to scratches. In testing the light has been rated impact resistant for drops up to 10 meters, and has been IPX-8 certified making it water resistant up to a depth of 2 meters. Among its peers, the Powertac E6 is one of the sturdiest tactical flashlights available.
