Protected Button Top 18650 Battery
The Samsung 26J is an 18650 battery with the power you need for energy demanding devices like flashlights and powerbanks. Thanks to its energy-dense ICR chemistry, this battery boasts a 2,600mAh capacity. Combine that capacity with a 3 year shelf life and a minimum of 300charge cycles, this rechargeable 18650 provides long-lasting energy with a single battery.
The added protection circuit board (PCB) offers overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, and short circuit protection.
The Samsung 2600 mAh 18650 battery has had multiple iterations since its release. These versions include, but are not limited to the 26F, 26H, 26M, and the 26J which is the current production version. Please refer to manufacturer datasheets for detailed product specifications.

This is a single cell battery pack comprised of a genuine Samsung 26J battery with a button top and PCB (protection circuit board) added by a battery pack manufacturer.
The addition of the button top terminal makes the pack slightly longer than an unprotected flat top 18650 battery, and the PCB offers protection from overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, and short circuit.
This cell has an additional outer wrapper (or sticker) and insulator which must not be removed.

"First of all, there is no indication on the batteries themselves that these are made by Samsung. That said, they seem to hold there charge well and I have yet to have a problem with charging them. They are the just about the cheapest 18650 batteries I've found aside from brandless crap on Amazon, and even then the price is competitive. I think I'll spend a bit more and get the nicely branded batteries in future, but I don't regret buying 4 of these."
Cells ok, Protection questionable
"I bought 4 of these. Out of the 4 only 3 would work at all. One of them, I had to cut off the protection board because It wouldn't allow anything over a few hundred milliamps of discharge current. The cell in it works fine without the protection board, but if I wanted an unprotected cell, I wouldn't have bought protected ones. After a few cycles, I am now wondering if I am having trouble with a second protection board limiting charge current really low for some reason? Perhaps as low as 100 milliamps. Maybe I should just remove all of the protection boards and use the cells carefully, that wasn't my intention, but seems like the protection boards aren't very good on these."

"Bought battery to replace one in my flag pole light. The old one did not last all night anymore. It was also a 2600mAh battery. I was disappointed that the new battery did not last any longer than the old one. When I bought the light the battery lasted all night for about 10 months."
