Compact Outdoor Utility Knife with Customized XR Lock
The ambidextrous SOG Aegis AT is a sizable outdoors folding knife featuring a flattened drop point shape with a thick straight edge. This 3.13" blade made of American CRYO D2 steel reinforced by a rugged, corrosive-resistant titanium nitride finish. The handle is crafted using whisper weight, ergonomic glass-reinforced nylon— largely responsible for the knife's net 4.04oz weight. Just about 5 inches long when closed, the Aegis can be brought to bear in the field in a pocket or on a pocket corner via an included customizable belt clip carrying system.
Innovative design factors enhance the safety and maneuverability of the blade. A firm AT-XR lock that allows one to flip open the blade in a single hands-free motion while a thumb stud enables precise folding action and multidirectional cutting pressures. The rear lanyard loop can double as a glass-breaking strike bezel in an emergency, granting even greater field preparedness.
