This system utilizes high-tension coil springs to help users easily open their folding knife, using one hand. Simply initiate the opening action and the coils will take over and propel the blade out. The SOG Aegis folding knife is equipped with a clip point blade that features a straight edge. A clip point blade is a good all-around format, which features a concave cutout toward the tip.
