Clip Point with Straight Edge
The SOG Aegis folding knife was designed to embrace its meaning. Aegis, in Greek, translates as "shield" or "protection", which is just what you want in your EDC knife. The SOG Aegis features a 3.5-inch-long stainless steel blade that is easily accessible using the S.A.T. (SOG Assisted Technology). This system utilizes high-tension coil springs to help users easily open their folding knife, using one hand. Simply initiate the opening action and the coils will take over and propel the blade out. The SOG Aegis folding knife is equipped with a clip point blade that features a straight edge. A clip point blade is a good all-around format, which features a concave cutout toward the tip. The straight edge is a pretty standard design; however, it is the ideal choice for hunters as it cuts cleanly and sharpens with great ease.
Choice of Handle Color
The SOG Aegis folding knife is equipped with a glass-reinforced nylon handle for added durability. The lightweight material is also impact-resistant and available in two color options: Black and Digi Camo. In additon to the ergonomic handle, the SOG Aegis also includes a reversible low-carry pocket clip for effortless carrying. The EDC folding knife can therefore be safely and comfortably carried with you, every day!
