3-in-1 Outdoor Tool
The SOG Backcountry Axe is a sturdy, multi-functional tool that is essential for any active outdoors enthusiast. The 16-inch-long hatchet features a solid 1055C steel head with a sharp 3-inch blade edge that will handily chop, split and cut wood or other tough materials. The axe's blade comes with specialized cutouts on either side that decrease the friction while chopping, making the process easier and faster for its user. Opposite of the blade is a flat back that can be used to hammer in stakes or pegs to secure tents, tarps, and much more. The Backcountry Axe's handle is crafted from glass-reinforced nylon with a solid fiberglass core, and even holds a secret secondary saw blade that can be removed to cut down brush, branches or smaller logs. The versatile hatchet comes with a molded nylon sheath that can be clipped to a belt, backpack, or other gear so you can easily and safely carry this impressive tool wherever you go!
