SOG takes great pride in its SEAL line of knives and this is the original. The SEAL Team, formerly the SEAL Knife 2000, has been tested extensively by the U.S. government. Tests included tip breaking stress, blade breaking limit, sharpness, edge retention, two week salt water immersion tests, chopping, hammering, and other rigorous assessments of every aspect of the tool.It is built with a 7 inch powder coated blade constructed from durable steel that is strengthened using SOG's unique Cryogenic Heat Treatment. The partially serrated blade and full tang construction allow this knife to cut through a variety of tough materials and perform jobs requiring blunt force and hammering. This is the go-to knife for tactical and survival needs. Its supreme build quality and battle tested capabilities have earned it the SEAL name. Includes a tough Kydex sheath.
