SOG Traction
SOG's Traction is their entry-level folder, but don't be fooled by the low price tag - SOG's materials are a notch above the competition. The blade is made from high-quality 5CR13MOV steel, a grade often used in high-end kitchen knives and scissors. The handle is made from glass-reinforced nylon - no cheap plastic here - and is ambidextrous because of its reversible low-carry clip. At a mere 2.3 oz., the Traction's light weight makes it easy to add to any pocket or kit. And of course, every SOG blade is covered by their generous lifetime warranty. The Traction makes an excellent secondary blade or beginner's knife.
