SOG included all its favorite technologies when they designed this tool. The Trident features its SOG Assisted Technology™ (S.A.T.) opening mechanism, which utilizes high tension springs activated by a nudge to the thumb stud to bring the blade to an open position at lightning speed. Once open, SOG's Arc-Actuator™ locks strong and releases quickly so you can get to business and move on right when you need to. An ingenious safety lock ensures the S.A.T. won't spring into action until you're ready. This knife is also fitted with a DigiGrip™ variable patterned handle that implements coarser grip in areas that need it. Also on the handle you'll find SOG's patented Groove™ that allows you to cut paracord, fishing line, etc. efficiently and safely without having to open the blade.
A reversible pocket clip ensures comfort and security for either pocket. This blade is packed with features that make it a practical every-day carry and its highly engineered technology is durable enough for the extremes of the wild.
