Operation is as simple as turning it on, and it is powered by either two primary Lithium CR123A batteries or two rechargeable Li-ion RCR123A batteries. Depending on which power source you go with, you can treat up to 100 half liters of water on a single charge. In total, you can treat 8,000 1 liter bottles of water. That should last you a very long time. The built-in water sensor controls the illumination of the lamp and when the timed treatment is complete, the lamp turns off. It's as easy as that. Within 48 seconds, you'll have clean water to drink from, putting your mind at ease.The SteriPEN Adventurer Opti is proven to effectively eliminate over 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, and protozoa that cause water-borne illness.Features:- Purifies up to 8000 liters
