What sets this newer Classic UV water purifier from the rest is how it is powered. You can now use either Alkaline, Lithium, and even rechargeable NiMh batteries; now, that is true versatility. Depending on which power source you go with, you can treat up to 200 half liters of water on a single charge. In total, you can treat 8,000 1 liter bottles of water. That should last you a very long time. You simply place the Ultra UV lamp in the water and stir. The built-in water sensor controls the illumination of the lamp and when the timed treatment is complete, the lamp turns off. It's as easy as that. Within 48 seconds, you'll have clean water to drink from, putting your mind at ease.The SteriPEN Classic 3 is proven to be effective at eliminating over 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, and protozoa that cause water-borne illness.Features:- Purifies up to 8000 liters
